Pricing – General

• Though the price quoted is in US dollars, all suppliers are paid in local currency. Pricing is based on current exchange rates between the local currency and the dollar. Prices quoted are subject to change up until the time of arrival in the destination pending rate of exchange at that time. Price will be adjusted accordingly – and either client or Puzzle Travels, as the case may be, will be responsible for any differential in cost
• The above price or price mentioned via email is based on hotel reservations made in your name
• The above price or price mentioned via email is valid for 7 days only – after which we will need to re quote the hotel rooms and offer an updated price. Price can only be finalized once the tour is booked by sending a down payment and relevant forms. 

Terms of Payment for Land Service

• Reservations can only be confirmed once the down payment of 30% of the trip cost has been paid as well as passport copies have been received by our office
• Payment accepted by wire transfer or credit card; details provided upon booking.
• All above prices or prices mentioned by email and all payments must be made in US dollars

Booking & Cancellation policies

• Upon confirmation of booking a non-refundable down payment of 30% of the total cost is to be made.
• Full payment is to be made 60 days prior to arrival
• Cancellation prior to 75 days, the cancellation fee is 30% of trip cost 
• Cancellation between 75-61 days prior to arrival, cancellation fee is 40% of trip cost
• Cancellation between 61-45 days prior to arrival, cancellation fee is 50% of trip cost
• Cancellation between 44-31 days prior to arrival, cancellation fee is 60% of trip cost
• Cancellation between 30-15 days prior to arrival, cancellation fee is 70% of trip cost
• 14 days or less, 100% cancellation fee
• In the case of postponement, we will do our best to get some of the amounts paid to be used as credit for future trips up to 12 months, but cannot be refunded unless agreed otherwise

Trip insurance is a requirement for booking. 

Please note, however, that higher cancellation charges may apply to some arrangements. For example, some suppliers require the full cost of services to be paid when a booking is made and this may not be refundable if you cancel. At peak periods, such as Passover, Hanukkah, Christmas, and other holidays, some accommodation providers require a non-refundable deposit of more than 30% of the total cost to be paid to secure a booking. If this applies to your arrangements, we will let you know at the time of booking and we will also advise you of the cancellation charges which apply. It is a requirement that you take out full travel insurance for you and all members of your party, which will in most cases include cover, under certain circumstances, against loss of deposit or cancellation fees.

Accommodations

• Unless mentioned otherwise on the itinerary all rooms are standard double rooms
• When booking multiple rooms for a group we will do our best to book rooms that are as close together as possible but cannot guarantee location of rooms.  Should you require connecting rooms, we will advise if/where/when its not possible and may need to change accommodations when this is the case.  
• If checking into a hotel on Shabbat, please note that each hotel has different policies as to when checking in is or is not possible.  As many hotels allow late check out on Shabbat (Saturday), they may not allow check in until after Shabbat ends. We will do our best to allow for check in on a Saturday earlier, but cannot guarantee that check in will be possible until after the end of Shabbat. 

Food and Beverages

• All meals listed as included will be arranged OR catered by Puzzle Travels catering staff (these meals include beverages i.e. wine and/or soda depending on the meal) 
• Meals which are listed as not included will be at your own expense

Please Note

• The suggested program includes many elements that have not yet been booked. They are pending final booking and confirmation. As such, there may be slight changes in the final program. 
• The cost is subject to change at any time as per notice from hotels and other suppliers of services.
• If the number of participants and/or rooming arrangements and/or flights schedules are changed, an additional supplement may apply.
• Children 12 years old and above are considered adults in terms of pricing in general and rooming in hotels.
• Note that the final price can change according to changes in the schedule 

The Tour Day

The proposal has been quoted based on the itinerary, mileage and hours designated per day, and the other touring elements noted above. The base tour day is based on a maximum of ten hours per day. Any additional charges will be billed to the customer’s credit card at the end of the trip and must be settled locally prior to departure from the destination. Should you decide to extend your stay at the end of the program and require a taxi we will arrange and book the hotel. Extra costs may apply.

Gratuity with Puzzle Staff

• Tour guides and drivers
  Should tips for your guide and driver not be included in the cost of your tour, the following suggestions are guidelines for tipping and are provided for your reference and given in CASH only
  • For a guide driving a private car for up to 3 passengers – $80-100 per touring day in total
  • For a guide driving a private car for 4-5 passengers – $100-120 per touring day in total
  • For a group of 5-9 passengers in a mini-van with a separate driver: $120-140 per day for the guide & $50 per day for the driver
  • For a group of 10 – 19 passengers: $10 per participant per day for the guide & $5 per participant per day for the driver & $3 per participant per day for the staff
  • For a group of 20 passengers and more: $8 per participant per day for the guide & $4 per participant per day for the driver & $2 per participant per day for the staff
  • In the case where a security guard and/or a youth counselor is included: $1 per participant per day per security guard, per youth counselor
• Other gratuity
  It is also customary to tip your airport drivers, bellboys, hotel staff and waiters. This, of course, is left to your discretion. Local customary tip at restaurants is 15% of the bill. Hotel maids at $15 for your entire stay is customary (Cash only)
• Please note that a number of convenient services (taxis, a few restaurants) will accept cash only.

Passport Validity

All passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of return to your home country.

Responsibility

• Puzzle Travels (hereinafter called the Tour Coordinator), acts only as an agent for the various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodation and other travel services. 
• All exchange orders, coupons and tickets are offered subject to the Terms and Conditions under which such services are offered or provided. 
• The issuance and acceptance of such tickets shall constitute your acceptance of the terms and conditions as set out. 
• The airline and transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act; omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. 
• The Tour Coordinator reserves the right to cancel/alter any part of the itinerary as may be found desirable for the proper execution of the tour and the safety and comfort of the passengers. This without penalty to the Tour Coordinator itself.
• The Tour Coordinator reserves the right to change any hotel/s listed and replace with a property of a similar category if circumstances necessitate. 
• Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passenger/s. 
• The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any group at any time should they require services beyond those which can be provided. 
• If room requirements are altered due to cancellation of one or more passengers, the passengers still travelling must pay the applicable rate for the accommodation to be occupied. 
• If you must leave the tour early, regardless of reason, no refunds will be granted for unused services. 
• Participants should expect to pay extra for the use of facilities such as sauna, health clubs, safety deposit box, etc. 
• Regardless of the flight arrival or departure time, most hotels have a check in between 1 PM – 4 PM. Requests for immediate check in outside of the normal check in hours will be subject to additional fees levied by the hotel. 
• Prices quoted are based on current tariffs and rates of exchange and are subject to change without prior notice. 
• We reserve the right to cancel a departure should there be an insufficient number of participants to make the tour viable.
• Puzzle Travels often take photos and/or videos of our visitors participating in activities during the tour. These photos may appear on the website, in published materials and/or on Facebook. We also encourage you to send us photos you take during the tour, so we may add them to our collection. Images may be emailed to info@puzzle-travels.com.

By signing the itinerary, you hereby grant Puzzle Travels permission to use my likeness in a photograph in any and all of its publications, including website entries, without payment or any other consideration.
